Lights Camera Action: The Musical!

Campers who attend June 5 – June 16 will work together to produce a musical based on famous children’s movie musicals.  Rotating between music, art, dance and theatre, they will learn songs, choreography, and produce sets, props and costumes for the show, “Lights, Camera, Action!” Making a “commercial” for the performance and acting for the camera will also be part of the two-week curriculum.

Weather permitting, we will take a “walking field trip” to the Challenger Learning Center Imax Theater on Friday, June 8.* The final performance of “Lights, Camera, Action!” will be held at 4:30 on Friday, June 16.

Please note that this is a two-week camp, and because of the requirements of the production, we can accept no one-week campers at this particular camp.  However, we have several stand-alone one-week camps planned throughout the summer.
