Once Upon a Magical Musical Camp

Campers who join the cast of “ONCE UPON A MAGICAL MUSICAL” will rehearse every afternoon (12:30 – 5:30) July 8-19 (two-week commitment required) to produce a musical showcase inspired by some of Broadway’s most famous fairy tales and magical characters – shows like WICKED, WIZARD OF OZ, INTO THE WOODS, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST,  LITTLE MERMAID, and ALADDIN.

Rotating between singing, dance and acting classes, they will learn songs, choreography, and produce sets, props and costumes for the show.  Singing will include classes like “Acting the Song,” and young performers will be introduced to a variety of dance styles. Our final performance will take place the afternoon of June 17 at the Making Light Theatre. Where appropriate and needed, two different age groups (ages 8-9 and 10+) will work on specific skills and interests.
