I am a Tallahassee native and FSU graduate. Employed for over three decades in the graphic design and advertising agency world, I now enjoy a freelance career creating illustrations, design projects and writing content for a variety of regional professionals. Most of the fine art images I now show were created in my “spare time,” for the joy of the process itself. Since my days back at Kate Sullivan Elementary, I have always loved drawing characters and scenes “from my head” to engage and amuse those around me. I welcome commissions of all kinds and have created custom portraits and one-of-a-kind greeting cards for friends of their pets, themselves, their houses, and cherished local landmarks, rendered with a whimsical touch.
Artist Style: Visual: Collage, Dream Imagery/Ethereal, Environmental, Figurative, Illustrative, Murals, Nature/Wildlife, Representational, Social Commentary, Still Life; whimsical and anthropomorphic, picture book illustration - children and adult

Currently, I teach "Engage With Your Page" at the Tallahassee Senior Center art program. It is a mixed media and sketchbook group with guided project goals. I have enjoyed guiding groups with using water media - watercolor, gouache, ink, and acrylic and also the basics of drawing with line and shade - using pencils, and washes of ink or watercolor. I have also taught children and adults singularly or in very small groups - drawing from life, keeping a sketchbook, and the joys of pattern, using paper, paint, and collage.
