After graduating from Georgetown University in 1970 and receiving his MBA from Cornell in 1972, he spent 25 years in the investor-owner hospital industry. He rose to the head of the International Division of American Medical International, Inc. in Paris where he met and developed a trusted relationship with the Duchess, even serving as her escort to numerous events in Paris before her death. In a riveting lecture and presentation, Silvin will describe his intimate personal friendship with the Duchess and reveal, “untold details about the Windsors, and several of their friends’ infamous and dramatic lives.”
