Seeking Guitar, Ukulele, Piano Instructors for Contract Positions

We are looking for piano, guitar, and ukulele instructors for Making Light Productions for teaching private lessons in contract positions, for work starting in January 2023. Ability to teach multiple instruments/disciplines is a major plus, as is musical theatre experience. We schedule lessons at the mutual agreement of student and teacher, so you can customize your hours to fit your schedule seven days a week.

Positions are for around 5-20 hours (exact number of hours depends upon registration and availability - days/times flexible) at a rate commensurate with degree and experience. The ideal candidate would have at least a B.F.A. or can demonstrate proficiency (through documented experience and performance). At least one year of experience teaching individuals and/or group classes is required. Some experience in teaching children with special needs is a plus (as is knowledge of assisting students navigate voice changes if you teach voice). References and background check required.
