We welcome you and your colleagues to nominate deserving individuals for the 2018/2019 Kennedy Center Citizen Artist Fellow Recognition. The Kennedy Center Citizen Artist Fellow Recognition program was launched in 2016 as a national platform to learn with, distinguish, and elevate emerging Citizen Artists who use art to create positive social impact in their communities. We’ve had two amazing cohorts of Citizen Artist Fellows from across the country join the Kennedy Center Family. Our 2016/2017 and 2017/2018 cohorts include artists, educators, activists, and architects who have helped illuminate and define the importance of citizen artist practice across the nation, and we continue to be inspired and informed by their commitment to community, ingenuity, and humility.

Our nomination process will close on December 22, 2017.
