The Wiregrass Art Gallery has been serving the Thomasville, Georgia and surrounding community for over a decade.  Located at 130 E. Jackson Street, Thomasville, Georgia, Gallery professionals have assisted over then interns successfully obtain invaluable experience in a variety of venues as well as provide letters of recommendation and facilitate continued education and employment.  Interns may select their area of interest with a membership of over thirty artists working to create, market, sell, support, teach, inspire and contribute to new artists, participate in local networking, student populations, non-profit enterprises such as the Peyton Tuthill scholarship fund, Jack Hadly Black History Museum in Thomasville, Altzheimer Association  and numerous other endeavors and associations.  Interns may write for local publications, assist with photography, social media, marketing, local fundraisers as well as participate in Thomasville events such as Sip & Shop, the annual Rose Festival, Wildlife Festival, Victorian Christmas, sidewalk sales and other ventures contingent upon timing of class schedules and internship requirements.  All work may be done on line if necessary.
