Call for Artists - Artopia 2017
Artopia is a charity art fundraising event that benefits Big Bend Cares. Local and regional artists donate their artwork for this event, which includes a few signed and numbered limited editions. With art and media including painting, sculpture, photography, arts and crafts, and more, Artopia has become a must-attend event, drawing approximately 1,500 participants per year. Artopia features both silent auctions, and a rousing live auction at the end of the evening. Last year Artopia featured more than 300 pieces of original artwork, including oils, pastels, acrylics, photography, scenography, sculpture, pottery, ceramics, jewelry, woodwork, mixed-media and much, much more. The event date is Saturday, June 24th at 7:oo pm, in the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center. The last day to submit artwork for Artopia 2017 is June 9th. If you have any other questions, comments, or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us.

I would like to donate a painting or two but I am out of the country until June 20/21. The announcement is not clear -- is June 9 the deadline for donations or the date of the event? If the latter, would June 21 be too late for bringing the item over?
