Synopsis:

A local couple talks about why they chose to retire to Tallahassee. The couple and their adult children confide a variety of reasons to “Choose Tallahassee.”

Character Bios (all ethnically ambiguous):

“DAN”

Gender: Male; Age: 30 – 40

A father who lives in Tallahassee, and has convinced his retired parents to move here. Ultimately, his goal was to gain free babysitting but he persuades them by explaining how great Tallahassee is. Dan has multiple children who are super excited to have their grandparents in the picture.

“BECCA”

Gender: Female; Age: 30 – 40

A mother who lives in Tallahassee, and is equally excited about her in-laws living in town.

“NED”

Gender: Male; Age: 50 – 60

An active 50-something who enjoys living in Tallahassee for its outdoor activities, higher learning, and natural beauty. Also appreciates his son’s availability for manual labor and free tech support.

“LAURA”

Gender: Female; Age: 50 – 60

An active 50-something who enjoys living in Tallahassee for its community events, parks, and affordability. Also appreciates her son’s availability for manual labor and free tech support.
