2017 Public Art Exhibition on Hilton Head Island
Call for Visual Artists - DEADLINE :
The Public Art Exhibition on Hilton Head Island is accepting submissions for our fall 2017 Public Art Exhibition on Hilton Head Island.
Sculptors are invited to submit large-scale work for this outdoor exhibition, which runs from October 1, 2017 through January 31, 2018.
The theme, “Envisioning Connections,” is intended to inspire submissions that foster a sense of discovery, exploration, interaction, recreation, education and an element of surprise within the beauty of the Lowcountry region.
Each accepted artist will receive a $2,000 stipend, along with resort lodging during installation.
Cash prizes will be awarded for our People’s Choice Awards; one piece will be purchased for addition to the Town of Hilton Head Island’s permanent public art collection.
