Reflections and Reckoning: Brown v. Board of Education at 70.

The Brown v. Board of Education decision, issued unanimously by the Supreme Court of the United States on May 17, 1954, was a watershed in American jurisprudence. We take a look back at the circumstances that compelled the five groups of plaintiffs in the case and the impact that the decision had on our community and throughout the South, then and today. Stained Glass Mosaic

Presented by LeMoyne Arts at LeMoyne Arts Education Center

A mosaic is a surface decoration made up of closely set, usually variously colored, small pieces of glass, tile, ceramic, or stone. In this class students will construct their own mosaic using a design of their choice. Everyone will learn to safely cut or break the glass then assemble pieces on a flat surface using glue and grout.
