Virtual: Well Read and Sandwich Bread

Podcast listeners know: One of Annie’s bookstore owner’s dreams once involved lunch meat. As a teen, she thought a bookstore’s perfect match would be not a wine bar, but a sandwich shop featuring literary-inspired lunch offerings. (“The Old Man and the Sea,” for example, would be the shop’s tuna sandwich.)
Now, she’s partnering with her dad, a culinary expert, for a 2021 event series inspired by literal and literary sandwiches.

Every few weeks, Annie and her dad will gather in their respective kitchens and walk attendees through the creation of a sandwich inspired by a literary masterpiece. Your $15 ticket includes access to the live video, a recipe card with all the ingredients you’ll need to make your own sandwich, and a brief Q&A.
