The Adventures of Lucas the Human

Monticello Acting & Dance Co. presented The Adventures of Lucas the Human, an original script and music written by 18 year Benjamin Britton and Abigail Boyd in a 2-day performance, wearing face shields, outdoors in a field in downtown Monticello, July 24 – 25. We were limited to 50 per audience, so the actors, ages 8 to 18, performed to sold out audiences, spaced 6′ apart sitting in their own lawn chairs within 6′ circles. Every safety precaution was taken and you can read our entire rehearsal/performance story on our website. We wanted to be able to share our performance with everyone, as so many had to be turned away at the door. So, we videotaped our opening night and hope you’ll watch it! It’s FREE to watch the video.
