Monticello Acting & Dance Co. presented The Adventures of Lucas the Human, an original script and music written by 18 year Benjamin Britton and Abigail Boyd in a 2-day performance, wearing face shields, outdoors in a field in downtown Monticello, July 24 - 25. We were limited to 50 per audience, so the actors, ages 8 to 18, performed to sold out audiences, spaced 6' apart sitting in their own lawn chairs within 6' circles. The Adventures of Lucas the Human is a recorded performance. You may watch it any time of day or night for your viewing pleasure. We are making it available to you for the month of August. Enjoy! If your theater company would like the rights to do your own production of The Adventures of Lucas the Human, contact us at info@monticelloactingdanceco.org and we'll be happy to work out a rental agreement for you. We're also happy to let you know about the safety precautions we took to make the show safe for our cast as well as our audience.
