Note By Note: The Making of Steinway L-1037

“Note by Note: the Making of Steinway L1037” is a feature-length independent documentary film that follows the creation of a Steinway concert grand, #L1037, from the forest floor to the concert hall.

In 2008, the Tallahassee Film Society (TFS) presented two showings of “Note by Note: the Making of Steinway L1037” at All Saints Cinema.  Presented in partnership with the FSU College of Music, the film was shown accompanied by a live performance from the relatively new (then) FSU Assistant Professor Heidi Louise Williams of the College of Music on a Steinway brought into All Saints Cinema for the event.  In addition, Ms. Anne Garee Director of the College’s Piano Technology program and

$20.00 per person.

Tickets for this event are not available on-line on our website.  Tickets are available one of two ways.  Checks can be mailed for $20.00 per person to:

and printed tickets will be returned by postal mail.

Or, using a credit card and subject to convenience fee, tickets can be purchased ahead of time (or on the 12/15 and 12/16 show dates subject to availability) at the All Saints Cinema’s ticket booth at any films we present prior to 12/15.  Tickets purchased in that manner will be issued an order number which will be shown at the door day of show.

Please note:  TFS passes will not be accepted for either showing.
