Master Artist Workshop Wendy Devarieux: Painting the Lanscape in Soft Pastel

In this workshop, students will learn how to use pastels effectively in creating landscapes. Soft pastels will be used as oil painters and watercolorists use a brush. Devarieux will focus on mark making, composition, color theory, and design used in creating a painting, and also discuss techniques and underpainting. Workshop includes discussion of design elements and principles, demonstrations of techniques, individual assistance, and a critique.
