The third Saturday of every month is Kid’s Free Day at the CLC! At 10:15am, please join us for interactive activities, science demonstrations, and a FREE IMAX or Planetarium show for kids 12 and under (with a paying adult).
The third Saturday of every month is Kid’s Free Day at the CLC! At 10:15am, please join us for interactive activities, science demonstrations, and a FREE IMAX or Planetarium show for kids 12 and under (with a paying adult). These activities may include a Chemistry Magic Show presented by members of FSU Chemistry & Biochemistry, a presentation by the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering or CLC education team, and/or a presentation by a community partner.

Designated 11:00 A.M. IMAX OR Planetarium Show: Free for kids 12 & under with a paying adult (IMAX: $8 for adults, $7 for students/seniors; Planetarium: $5.00 for adults, $4.75 for students/seniors)
Additional designated pre- and post- activities are free to all.

The Kleman Parking Garage is the closest public parking garage to the Challenger Learning Center (CLC). It is adjacent to the CLC on Kleman Plaza. Entrances to the Kleman Parking Garage are located on South Duval and South Bronough Streets. The rates are follows:
- 0-2 Hours: $2.00
- 2-3 Hours: $2.50
- 3-4 Hours: $3.00
- 4-5 Hours: $3.50
- 5-6 Hours: $4.00
- 6-7 Hours: $4.50
- 7-8 Hours: $5.00
- 8+ Hours: $6.00
- After 6:00 P.M.: $1.00
- Weekends all day:$1.00
Additional parking is available at metered street spots and other public lots located throughout downtown Tallahassee.
Buses: Buses should pull into the bus ramp on College Ave. Enter the bus ramp by traveling South on Bronough St. and turning left onto College Ave. The bus ramp will be on the immediate right. The bus ramp is for drop off and pick up only. Parking is available at the Leon County Civic Center (free for Leon County Schools; $35 for all other buses), the Governor’s Square Mall, or in the free parking lot at the corner of Gaines Street and Duval Street.
