Introduction to Foamcraft - For Costuming and Cosplay

Foamsmithing is a fun (and inexpensive) way to make helmets, armor, masks, and costume accessories. This demo will give an introduction to the craft.

We will discuss what types of foam to use, where to obtain it, what adhesives are needed, and where to get patterns and instructions.

We won’t actually be making anything (that would take several hours, but it is a future possibility if there is interest). This is an event to let people know how to get started–what materials are needed, where to get them, and where to find patterns and instructions.
