Dating from the mid-1800’s, “gyo= fish/ taku= rubbing”, was originally used as a form of record keeping among Japanese fishermen.
In this workshop, participants will use the direct approach of the art. In this approach participants will apply ink or paint onto the fish and gently press it onto paper. Materials will be provided.
Please note that this workshop is sometimes conducted outside.
