Easter at Popes Museum

Combining history,heritage and egg hunts, Easter at Popes Museum is sure to be a delight for the entire family. One of three times a year this National Treasure is open to the public makes this an event you want to join with the entire family line. THere will be 3 age levels of egg hunts, a professional story teller sharing the Resurrection story, the Easter Bunny, historic home tours, renovated gardens, worship music, a petting zoo and more.

Under consideration for the National Register of Historic Places for art, recreation and women\’s history, Popes Museum is coming alive again after 45 years of being closed. Once featured in the Smithsonian Magazine and the Library of Congress (251x!) it has been featured in 2019 by the High Museum and Georgia Lifestyle Magazine (April 2019). The home and garden tours of artwork and statuary are magnificent; the children\’s activities are high energy and educational; the Resurrection story is inspirational.
