Caribé 2019: Celebrate Bahamian Junkanoo, a FREE festival, will take place on Saturday and Sunday, November 9th and 10th, from 2-6 pm at the FAMU Way Market Area alongside Railroad Square Art Park (between Railroad Avenue and Pinellas Street).
On Saturday, beginning at 2 pm, there will be kids' activities, authentic Caribbean food, arts/crafts vendors, Caribbean bands and DJs on stage and, from 4 to 5 pm, a full-costume parade led by a Bahamian group from Orlando, "Junkanoo Near You" headed up by FAMU alumnus DeVaughan "Woody" Woodside.
