The Canopy Oaks Chapter of Embroiderers’ Guild of America (EGA) will have a presentation on weaving lead by member Donna Carruth. Social time is from 10 AM-10:30 AM. The chapter’s business meeting is 10:30 AM and program to follow.”

Ms. Carruth will talk about the history of spinning and weaving in general, and as it relates to embroidery.

Ms. Carruth is planning to bring 2 small looms, and a spinning wheel that people can try after she has provided basic information to the group.11she will bring examples of what can be made with each technique and possibly samples of different types of wool.
