Ms. Carruth will talk about the history of spinning and weaving in general, and as it relates to embroidery.

Ms. Carruth is planning to bring 2 small looms, and a spinning wheel that people can try after she has provided basic information to the group.11she will bring examples of what can be made with each technique and possibly samples of different types of wool.

Ms. Carruth is planning a surprise for the the group that deals with weaving and spinning of wool yarn. There will be little kits to pass out - a small crewel work project. Ms. Carruth suggests members bring a small hoop (6"), if they want to start working on the crewel project.
