CandiiKismet: A Dream in Color by Candace Allen

Anderson Brickler Gallery is excited to showcase the artworks of Candace Allen in our Winter 2022 Exhibit, CandiiKismet: A Dream in Color. Ms. Allen is the first woman artist to have a solo show with us, and the youngest. A native of Quincy and a graduate of FAMU, Ms. Allen’s talents are displayed through a variety of media: portraits, medical illustrations and mobile art. Ms. Allen says about her art: ” the work I create I refer to as magical realism. I describe it as a space between the natural world and something I can only describe as the feeling of experiencing the impact of magic.”

Candiikismet: A Dream in Color will open on February 12, 2022 and be available for your viewing through May 14, 2022. An Artist Talk is scheduled for February 26th from 3 to 4 pm.  Gallery hours are by appointment on Wednesdays from 11 am to 3 pm and Saturdays from 2 pm to 5 pm: special requests are always considered.
