Tallahassee native Jo Anne Richardson is a poet, photographer, and public speaker. Using vivid imagery and straightforward wording, Richardson – whose poetry has been called existential and spiritual – writes about simple joys, important moments, and the power of nature to heal and transform. Her first volume of poems is scheduled for publication in 2020.

After a career in high tech, and time living in Seattle, Charleston, Miami, and London, Jo Anne has returned home to the town where she was born and raised. In Tallahassee, she enjoys long walks, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on Florida State University basketball teams.
