Art at Home: Nature Crayon Rubbing

Want to know some fun ways to make art at home? Here’s one of our favorite projects at Gadsden Arts: Nature Crayon Rubbings.

This simple project requires leaves, crayons, and paper.
Steps:
1. Find leaves and flowers in your yard.
2. Place leaves under a piece of paper.
3. Using the flat side of a peeled crayon, rub on the paper to reveal the leaf’s shape and texture.
Ta da!
