A Gathering of Shape-Note Singers from Florida, Alabama and Georgia, singing from The Sacred Harp, Cooper Edition We regret that this event is CANCELLED. Leon County has closed all Community Centers Saturday, 19 Oct, due to Tropical Storm Nestor.
We are open to all, celebrating the joy of singing together. Sacred Harp can "raise the rafters" of a building and raise your spirits.
"Sacred Harp" refers to the human voice, and this is the only instrument we use. For more information about Sacred Harp, see our organization listing.
This event will be a fun way to experience Sacred Harp ("shape note") music at its best.
