An American Celebration: Lift Every Voice!

Through a generous grant from Bank of America, the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra will be presenting a 4th of July concert of all-American music. In addition to favorite patriotic tunes, listeners will enjoy blues, rock n’ roll, soul, and funk.  The event will be live-streamed from 7:00-8:30 on Vimeo (can be accessed from www.tallahasseesymphony.org  or http://tallahassee.moonevents.com/) and will be broadcast on WCTV, Channel 6 from 7:00-8:00 p.m.  Vocalists Avis Berry and Anthony Williams will sing, among other things, “America the Beautiful” and “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” the Black National Anthem.
