Printing Press and Printmaking Paper for Sale

Whelan Xpress in “like new” condition including the full set of new blankets. Please see photo for dimensions. This press was made to order in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It has a stationary bed, so the roller moves over the blankets and press bed is stationary when printing. It takes up less studio space, than an ordinary press would. Also, the bed can never warp even after years of printing. This is a precision press and you can even print glass plates with it. It was previously used for printing large format etchings and monoprints mostly. It will also print embossments with a foam blanket. In all ways it is the perfect press. It is light weight enough for one person to move around in the studio. It has built in wheels, which makes it easy for one person to move and level. It comes apart for transporting it, but would fit on a flat bed tor large pickup truck for moving it. The Owners Manual which comes with it gives instructions for moving it and taking proper care of it. This press comes complete with everything on it and was purchased new for $6,000.00, including shipping. Seller is asking just $2,000.00 for it.

Also available for sale is a large supply of printmaking paper. Each sheet is 22” x 30”and all are 100% white rag papers used for all kinds of printmaking techniques, silkscreen, lithography and intaglio.

Lenox 100 and Somerset Velvet, both sell for $2.37 retail bulk prices. These two papers have no deckle and are less expensive than paper with a deckle. Seller is asking just $2.00 for each sheet.

Somerset Velvet and Rives BFK (France), both sell for $4.70 retail bulk prices, both are mold made papers with deckle and both imported. Seller is asking just $4.00 for each sheet.
