Borealis Philanthropy is offering grants through the Disability Inclusion Fund (DIF) to support nonprofits in the USA and territories. ​ Proposals that celebrate, create, and elevate uplifting the authentic representation of disabled people in the arts, media, literature, and other creative works are among BP's funding priorities.

The deadline to apply is May 29, 2024, at 8:59 PM PT or 11:59 PM ET.

Successful applicants will receive a two-year grant totaling $150,000, with $75,000 awarded per year.These funds should be used to strengthen disability rights, inclusion, and justice in the arts.Priority will be given to disability-led organizations, especially those with leaders who are women and/or from the BIPOC or queer and gender non-conforming communities.

To be eligible, your organization must have an annual budget with committed revenue of less than $1 million and be a U.S-based or U.S. territory-based 501(c)3 or be fiscally sponsored.Please note that non-U.S.-based organizations, individuals, universities, hospitals, for-profit/LLCs, and organizations primarily focused on research or direct service are ineligible.

To apply, start by taking the eligibility quiz on the Borealis Philanthropy website.If you pass the quiz, you will be prompted to log into your online grants portal, where you can access the application.Applicants who submit proposals by the May 29, 2024 deadline will be notified about funding decisions by December 6, 2024.
