Eden Altered, featuring mixed media artists Linda Hall and Dimelza Broche, is a whimsical, surreal, imaginative exhibit focusing on the chaos of nature. They explore the beautiful and the macabre with elegance and magic. This visual adventure into an altered Garden of Eden evokes a sense of wonder as viewers experience otherworldly textures, powerful use of color, anthropomorphized creatures, femininity, and exploration of self.
This exhibit will be open during LeMoyne’s Chain of Parks Art Festival weekend, so it will be getting a heightened amount of publicity and visitation. We are looking for complementary artists who can add texture and interest to this “altered Eden”. All mediums are welcome. Large-scale paintings and simple pieces are especially of interest to help add a calming element to ground the exhibit.
