Susan Howard Sapronetti

Susan is of Native American Muskogee Creek decent and is very passionate about preserving her heritage through art. She is a member of the Lower Muskogee Creek Tribe. She is a multi – talented artist with skills in photography, painting, beadwork, sewing, weaving and a variety of other crafts. Her beadwork designs combine traditional Native American techniques and contemporary materials. She specializes in the brick stitch, Peyote stitch, and loom work in her hand woven pieces.   She has sewn for over thirty years and enjoys keeping alive the art of Native American traditional custom regalia.
