I think I have always been an Artist. My earliest memories were about creating, either drawing, painting or constructing items to decorate my world. After obtaining an art degree in college, I thought I needed to get a “real” job and for many, many years, I worked in the public sector. But my creative side always called out to be heard. One day, while I was in the midst of an MBA program, I wandered into a local bead store, and a new passion began. Though I had always loved beads and jewelry, it had never been a focus of my creativity. When I discovered Metal Clay in 2000, I knew I have found a medium I could truly love. Most of my work is in Metal Clay, beads are still my first love. I also venture into other jewelry art forms, along with Zentangle, mixed media designs and book making. Who knows what is around the next corner. I hope you enjoy my work.
