  • Invitation Provocateur (formerly Anti-Lap Dance) in-progress invitation for the audience at large and one willing participant to be beguiled and humored through burlesque, improvisation, and dance theater. The work is also a transformation from femme to feral femme and pulls from feelings and sensations of pleasure, power, and instinct. Invitation Provocateur invites you to laugh, clap, and roar! This iteration was improvised by Maria White, and a consenting audience member at Florida State University's School of Dance Alumni Showcase at the 90/20/60 Celebration event.
