Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, they performed in the ensemble of FSU’s production of der Vampyr, as Patience in the Student Outreach opera, Patience, and in various scenes programs through FSU’s Opera Workshop. In 2019, they were awarded with the Beaulieu Competition scholarship for their artistry. In their undergrad, they performed as a Young Artist with Opera Roanoke in Virginia, playing the compressario role of the Officer in their 2019 production of Il barbiere di Siviglia. Additionally, they performed as a soloist in their 2018 Gala Concert, and as a member of the ensemble for their production of La boheme. Lane’s robust background as a singing actor is complimented by their love of teaching, and they are eager to pass on their skills by inspiring young singers.
