Call for Singers

Open Registration for the Tallahassee Civic Chorale’s summer concert season is Tuesday, May 3 and Tuesday, May 10 at 6:30pm in room CH165 of the Communications and Humanities Building at Tallahassee Community College, 444 Appleyard Drive. Registration begins at 6:30pm and the rehearsal begins promptly at 7:00pm.  Registration fees are $15 for students (FSU, FAMU, TCC, and under 18) and $40 for community members.  Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. The Chorale will be preparing music for their June 17th concert “A Fine Romance: Music of the Great American Songbook” under the direction of Dr. Leslie Heffner.  Established in 1986, the Civic Chorale is a non-audition, community chorus of about 60-70 singers, organized in traditional choral SATB fashion, and (since 1996) also serves as the college chorus for Tallahassee Community College.  Visit www.civicchorale.org for more information and to pre-register online, or call 850-942-1893.
