“Perceptions: Encounters with African Art” (Oct. 7-Nov. 8) will examine some of the ways outside cultures interpret African art, and it will showcase FAMU’s Fine Arts collection and current student artwork.
"Perceptions: Encounters with African Art" is a visually-stimulating exhibition combining artwork from both FAMU’s Fine Arts Collection and students in Visual Arts classes. The goal of this small exhibition is to examine some of the ways outside cultures interpret African art.
