I'm really interested in this book club series, but will be out of town during the first meeting. Is the book for the second meeting the same as the first? And would I be able to come to the second meeting even if I didn't come to the first?

Yes, you can definitely join us for the second meeting even if you miss the first one. In the first meeting, we will only be discussing chapters 1 - 5 of "Panther Baby" and we will be discussing chapters 6-11 in the second meeting.
Hope to see you there!
