Born in Memphis, TN, Kim found her love for art in the 5th grade. Her classmates were always asking her to draw them something. She concentrated her art on portraits at first, using acrylics and pastels as her two mediums of choice.
After getting her B.S. degree in Studio Art from Florida State, she became a graphic designer and started her own business, Graphic Visions, in 1993.
She started taking art classes again at FSU after graduating. She took, painting, mosaics and ceramics. One day, a teacher suggested she take the glass fusing class. Today, Kim teaches fused glass classes in her hometown and showcases in local and out of town art shows within Florida. She loves teaching her art and continues to learn new techniques in glass.

I offer beginner classes in fused glass. We make suncatchers and small projects. I also have jewelry classes every now and then. Fun two hour class to let your creativity show. I fire the projects in my own kiln at home and we meet back during a certain day and time for the students to pick up their projects.
