FREE for Leon County Schools: Can star-crossed love survive in a town divided? Find out in this adaptation of Romeo and Juliet set in modern Tallahassee.
Southern Shakespeare Company and Tallahassee Community College present the fifth year of A Town Divided, a contemporary-language adaptation of Romeo & Juliet that examines race relations in modern Tallahassee. Originally inspired by the real experiences of Tallahasseeans interviewed by the playwriting team, this entertaining and impactful 50-minute show sparks meaningful conversations at post-show talkbacks, in classrooms, and among theatre-goers.
