Call for Part Time Children's Director

Children's Co-ordinator

Children's Coordinator (approx 7 hrs a week) needed for growing a Children's program in a small church. Great position for college student. Position would include:

* leading teacher and scheduling our other volunteer teachers and assistants for Sunday morning Christian education - Bible study, crafts, music, etc.

* scheduling and leading monthly time of activities - outreach, fellowship, community service, etc.

* directing yearly Vacation Bible School

* Working with church staff and volunteers to make church activities child-friendly, enable coordination and engage in strategic planning and growth.

Church is in the Mideast area of town. Ideal candidate needs to be familiar with churches and able to provide strong character references, a description of prior experience with leading children and in church settings and contact information.
