Call for Visual Artists - DEADLINE :
Goodwood Museum & Gardens is issuing a call to artists to participate in a ‘sidewalk’ art sale during our April 6th fundraiser “Goodwood’s Grand Tour- Come Mingle with the Masters” from 6-9 PM. This outdoor event on the grounds of Goodwood will focus on the arts, food and culture of the European Grand Tour of the early 20th century and features the countries of France, Spain and Italy. Artists will line the sidewalks between the ‘countries’, selling up to 5 of their paintings/prints on easels. No tents are needed- we are re-creating the feel of European street market and all artists will be responsible for their own sales, with 20% being donated to Goodwood. Plein air painting/sketching is encouraged but not required. Subjects of the artwork should dovetail with the theme of the fundraiser. The audience will probably lean towards impressionistic or classical styles and the subject matter can range from nudes to landscapes, still life and portraiture.
