Yom HaShoah: Holocaust Remembrance Day

Yom HaShoah is the annual Holocaust Remembrance Day.  This year will be commemorated in partnership with HERC, Temple Israel, Congregation Shomrei Torah, and the Tallahassee Jewish Federation on Sunday May 5, 2024 at 2:00pm at Temple Israel (2215 Mahan Drive).Guest speaker Roslyn Franken, child of Holocaust Survivor and author of Meant to Be: A True Story of Might, Miracles, and Triumph of the Human Spirit is featured.  Following our speaker, the evening will culminate in a brief and meaningful ceremony led by Rabbi Paul Sidlofsky, along with community members, using Rabbi Adam Fisher’s book An Everlasting Name.
