"With Each New Day" by Debbie Bzdyl

Venvi Art Gallery is pleased to present With Each New Day, a solo exhibit by Debbie Bzdyl featuring thirty-seven of her abstract works. On display from November 3rd to January 14th, this exhibition radiates a sense of calm as well as a sense of wonder – from moments of peaceful solitude as we look up into the morning sky, to the sense of awe at the power of crashing waves along the shore. Every moment reminds us that each new day holds the promise of new beginnings and the opportunity to bring hope and beauty into the world.

Debbie Bzdyl’s work gravitates towards a theme of change that comes with the passing of time: from the constant evolution of the universe to the changes that take place in our own personal journey through life as we grow, mature, and redefine ourselves. These inspirations come from Bzdyl’s fascination of transformations and the inevitable changes that come with time. Through her work, Bzdyl comments on how mankind and the universe are in a constant state of flux, a state of growing, a state of becoming something new.

Through the use of bold strokes and loose markings to begin the composition, Bzdyl layers numerous colors of acrylic paint and glazes, to add complexity and contrast – finishing with clean lines and bright highlights to add dimension and a sense of light that seems to emanate from within the painting. Bzdyl aims to visually capture the mysterious and intangible, emotions and concepts beyond what can be observed in everyday life through the naked eye.

Bzdyl states that “It is [her] wish that [her] art will touch viewers in a deeply emotional way, encourage them to revisit the myths and mysteries of our universe and inspire them to explore their own spirit and journey through life.”

Since her return to fine art, Debbie Bzdyl’s work can be found in public and private collections across the United States. Bzdyl has had several solo shows and been in many juried shows where she’s won numerous awards.

With Each New Day will have an opening reception on Friday, November 3rd between 5 – 8pm at Venvi Art Gallery, located at 2901 East Park Avenue Tallahassee FL. Admission to the gallery is free and open to the public.
