Join us for a family history conversation featuring the 2020 Florida Folk Heritage Award winner, Hunter Hill Jr., and local historian Gloria Jefferson Anderson.

Hunter Hill Jr. is a renowned drummer known for his emancipation drumming or the 20th May drumbeat.  He will share his family history and discuss the Hunter Hill Jr. Collection, which includes 29 scale models of African American homes, stores, churches, and businesses in Leon County during the 19th and early 20th centuries.  Don't miss out on this opportunity to learn about the rich cultural heritage of our community.
