Storytime with The Grove Museum

The 2022 Summer Reading theme is Oceans of Possibilities! In June, we will be reading “Noah’s Seal” by Layn Marlow. Rain or shine, attendees should meet in the museum’s Florida Room at 10:00 AM.
June’s Storytime will be followed the FSU Sea-to-See program that teaches children about the marine world. There will be two touch tanks, one holding animals from a salt marsh and oyster bar and the other animals from a nearshore seagrass bed. Through the Sea-to-See program, participants will gain an appreciation for the incredible diversity of marine organisms found in Florida waters-knowledge that lays the foundation for the development of an attitude of stewardship toward the marine environment.
We encourage families to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy on the museum’s grounds following the program.
The program is FREE and open to the public! Storytime at The Grove is recommended for children ages 8 and younger.
