Staged Readings of Banned Books

Renowned author and FSU Professor David Kirby will introduce nearly a dozen beloved books that have been banned, and some of Tallahassee’s most popular actors will perform staged readings of them.

Come to the Irish Repertory Theater's staged reading of banned books at Theatre Tallahassee's Studio, Friday, November 17 (7:30pm), Saturday, November 18 (7:30pm), and Sunday, November 19 (2:30pm).  100% of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the American Library Association's "Unite Against Book Bans" campaign.  Renowned author and FSU Professor David Kirby will introduce the readings and speak about their literary merit.  Erika Stone will read from Margaret Atwood's "A ... view more »
