As this year’s White Mouse Playwrighting Fellowship winner, Ethan Morrison’s “The Women of Gevaudan” will have a reading to improve the staged performance next semester.
Never for long can there be peace, never for long can eden stand, never for long can love be shared when death is always close at hand. In the Spring of 1763, a shadow fell upon the region of Gevaudan, France. But even beneath a shadow, life will live spitefully, so see these women live and love as the shadow grows ever darker.
