Moonrise on the Wakulla

Join us for a different kind of river adventure from the fort at San Marcos de Apalache Historic State Park.  Begin your evening trip on the St. Marks River, paddling through the majestic confluence where two spring-fed rivers meet. Then head long onto the Wakulla River under the glow of the setting sun. This is the lower Wakulla where the river is wide with expansive views and abundant wildlife. We’ll talk nature, history, and the Cosmos while we paddle up the river as the near-full moon begins to rise. She will light the way as we turn to drift with the current, back down this iconic spring run. A truly magical experience!  $65 includes kayak/canoe, safety equipment, natural history river guide, and complimentary beverages.
