The Leon High School Concert and Symphonic Bands will be presenting their joint spring band concert, in honor of former band director Oliver Hobbs.
The Leon High School Band program would like to invite you to their annual Oliver Hobbs Memorial Band Concert. The performance will be presented on Tuesday, May 3 at 7:00pm in the Leon High School Auditorium. It will feature works by composers including Frank Ticheli and Alfred Reed, performed by some of Florida’s best high school musicians. The Leon High School Band program would like to invite you to their annual Oliver Hobbs Memorial Band Concert. The performance will be presented on Tuesday, May 3 at 7:00pm in the Leon High School Auditorium. It will feature works by composers including Frank Ticheli and Alfred Reed, performed by some of Florida’s best high school musicians. In 2022, both of Leon’s concert bands earned straight superior ratings at District Music Performance Assessment, and for many students, this will be their last high school performance. All are encouraged to attend, especially Leon band alumni. Admission is free, but donations will be appreciated.
