Combining American pop culture and traditional Korean iconography, Jiha Moon’s ceramics explore issues of global identities and the construction of personal narratives. Utilizing humor and repeated icons and motifs, Moon builds her own rich visual language. Many of the symbols in her work speak to the complex identities Moon navigates as a Korean-born, Atlanta-based artist. MoFA is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with extended hours on Thursdays until 8:00 p.m. Saturday hours are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and the Museum is closed on Sundays.
ParkMobile pay-to-park is available on the main and lower levels of the Call Street Garage. Visitors may park in any legal space after 5:00 p.m. on Thursdays and all day on Saturdays.
